Bricola is a symbol of Venice.
In 2016, the furniture for the hotel lobby was made in Cantu, Italy, from Bricola wood revived for a second life. Bricola are structures made of two or three wooden poles that mark the waterways of Venice. This name was chosen for Spa BRÌCOŁA, founded in Klaipėda, the port city of Lithuania, because of the building's connection with the port. These are Venetian-style buildings, former port warehouses, brought back to life.
THE UNIQUENESS OF THE BUILDING
Spa BRÌCOŁA was established in a hotel located in the Lithuanian port city, based on a bold vision of the future - Žvejų Street is one of the historically most important and most visited streets of the old town, which runs parallel to the Dangė River, to the lagoon... The hotel is located in carefully restored warehouses, adapted for the purpose of European hospitality and thus recognized as one of the most authentic symbols of Lithuanian maritime heritage in the port city.
The warehouses located at Žvejų St. 18 and 18A are an authentic legacy of Lithuanian maritime heritage from the 18th - 19th centuries. These unique buildings are protected and included in the Register of Lithuanian Cultural Properties.
